Dear Bailongball/Roliball fan community,
At the end of the year, there is always a bit of melancholy. That’s not a bad thing if there are still unfinished projects. If a postponed project doesn’t seem so important to us now, we can perhaps cancel it. If it remains important, we can take another look at it and bring it up to date.
The TBBF e.V. is an association that thrives on shared enthusiasm for a particular sport. However, enthusiasm always needs nourishment, like a flower needs water.
In March 2024 we informed you in the blog about new standardizations of the TBB rules, in May it became clear that there will be another Bailongball – Super Event in Jinzhong,China, in September. Freddy, as the Swiss representative of the TBBF, was able to describe his view of our sport in the magazine “tennisSport” in 2024 (here’s our blog post covering the article). A helpful Supervision in June 24 built up our self-confidence so that we could travel to China in September and represent the European version of Game Cooperating Net Standard at this event. The end of the outdoor season for TBBF is usually World Bailongball/Roliball Day in October. There was a lot of feedback from internet & social media channels about good encounters.
However, anyone who thought that the year was over was mistaken. It was nothing short of sensational when we were given the go-ahead in November ’24 to present Bailongball at the gymnastics festival in Leipzig at the end of May 2025. The preparations for this event started in a flash within the board. We will now plan and organize the days in Leipzig in close cooperation with the “LaoShan Union e.V.”. The organizing committee has been appointed and the tasks distributed. Information will be sent out soon.
Just this much at this point: Please keep the time from May 28 – June 01, 2025 free. We still need a good number of stand supervisors for the 120 square meter stand “TBB-Mitmach-Aktion”. If you are already willing to be there during this time or on a daily basis, please write an e-mail to:
Our book “BailongBall in sports lessons” should be ready for publication by then, hot off the press. We are still looking for an appealing solution for the introduction of the book and an hour of honors for 20 years of TBBF foundation during the gymnastics festival (!). We would also like to point out that there will be a need for basic bailong ball courses after the gymnastics festival. Please plan a date for this today for your area of life. The cooperation of several instructors and trainers in one area facilitates the realization. Please plan a date for this in your area today. Looking back and looking ahead, we are not perfect, but we are working on our form. This applies both to Bailongball as an exercise program and to our work as the TBBF e.V. board.
