In this blog post, Wilhelmina describes how she found BailongBall through Tai Chi and QiGong and what she likes about the sport as a trainer. BailongBall really is something special – but read for yourself.

My Inspiration for BailongBall

I am driven by a deep passion for Tai Chi and Qigong. The inspiring methods of the traditional Chinese martial arts and their comprehensive, fascinating forms of movement is something I, therefore, have been practicing and teaching for many years, now. For me it is a path to self-awareness. I first came into contact with BailongBall through competitions in the Netherlands and France. More than just my curiosity was aroused – I wanted to learn and delve into this sport with its philosophy.

Fun

Mindfulness

And then the time had come for me to pass on my experience with and impressions of this sport in my courses, in a Park at the Rhein river.

In my work as a fitness trainer and Qigong / Tai Chi teacher, I have to deal with various health constraints of participants. Often joy during the training is negatively impacted by pain, which often also affects motivation. Through BailongBall I not only succeeded in re-inspiring the pain-ridden participants. Through the gentleness of the BailongBall, I was able to help them find joy again in the training sessions. What is more – they felt better and better.

BailongBall has proven itself to me and my participants as an inspiring method that leads to more energy and vitality in the body. This sport brings liveliness, softness and elasticity. It helps to achieve more mobility and promotes coordination through its movement sequences.

Mind and soul are brought back into balance and the health-promoting, meditative, harmonizing elements of BailongBall contribute to a long preservation of the quality of life.

Coordination

I teach this sport on Sundays at 10:00 am and Mondays at 7:30 pm during the summer and fall months at the Park next to the Rhein river, in Bonn Beuel.

There will be a time change for the winter months, which I will announce ahead of time.
