A day on which we celebrate our sport, its inventor, and of course ourselves and our teammates: World Bailong-Roliball Day!
As every year, World Bailong Roliball Day (WBRD) takes place on the first Sunday in October. This year, on October 5, 2025. All Bailong Roliball players around the world were asked in advance to swing their rackets and balls on this special day of honor. Due to time differences, there were already many video recordings of individual players and groups from China and Malaysia, as was the case last year.
The TBBF members from Europe who met in Bonn, Germany, for a trainer supervision session were given a special honor. The inventor of the sport, Prof. Bai Rong, joined the training session live via video call and personally thanked each individual. He expressed his gratitude to the TBBF e.V. organization and its members, who for 20 years have been spreading and teaching the sport he invented outside of China with energy, sincerity, and joy, in accordance with its principles.
Another highlight of World Bailong-Roliball Day 2025 was the live video conference with players/groups from all over the world. This time, Chinese groups were only able to participate passively due to technical difficulties, perhaps also because the date coincided with the Golden Week holiday in China. It was all the more wonderful to see the Ukrainian group led by TBBF instructor Irina Rusavina in Dnipro, the Russian group led by TBBF instructor Olga Ardasheva in Lipetsk, and other groups in Europe warmly greeting each other and demonstrating their ART skills with the ball or simply playing GAME.
