Flowing, circular, swinging, dynamic movements, full of rhythm. Movements that flow through the whole body \u2013 spreading all the way to the fingers. There, the racket continues the movements of the body, often in the form of circles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In our series \u201cFreestyle Elements\u201d, you got a little insight into what is possible when the racket \u201cis spun\u201d. In parts <a href=\"https:\/\/test.bailongball.com\/en\/freestyle-elemente-racket-drehen-teil-1\/\/\" target=\"_self\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/en\/freestyle-elemente-racketdrehen-teil-2\/\" target=\"_self\">2<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/en\/freestyle-element-racketdrehen-teil-3\/\" target=\"_self\">3<\/a> you could see how Irina combines variations of racket spinning, with different body movements and sequences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Maybe you wonder how the racket can spin so elegantly, so smoothly and yet quickly, and still not lose contact with the ball? How do you practice something like that? For example, how does Irina manage to \u201cwrap\u201d the racquet around the ball so elegantly (the so-called \u201cscroll\u201d) as in the video of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/en\/freestyle-element-racketdrehen-teil-3\/\" target=\"_self\">third part<\/a> of the \u201cFreestyle Elements\u201d series?<\/p>\n<p>In our small two-part series on \u201cFinger Skills for Freestyle\u201d, we would like to show you a few exercises that help developing the necessary finger skills. In this first part we will practice with the small racquet, the Bailo. In the second part we will switch to the larger racquet.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to use all fingers in a coordinated way when turning the racket. Only if all fingers are engaged, will your racket turn completely and elegantly. And to get all fingers \u201cinvolved\u201d, we first focus on those that usually initiate a rotation \u2013 the index finger, middle finger, ring finger and little finger. Now move the ball around the free forearm again with the four fingers:<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"width: 1020px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-126840-3\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_3.mp4?_=3\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_3.mp4\">https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_3.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n\n<p>To train a coordinated sequence of finger movement, in the next exercise we move the ball from finger to finger \u2013 from thumb \/ pointer finger to ring finger \/ little finger and back again:<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"width: 1020px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-126840-4\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_4.mp4?_=4\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_4.mp4\">https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_4.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n\n<p>After these finger exercises with the ball, we now add the racket. The point is to turn the racquet outward and to perform a complete rotation of the racquet around its own axis. Hold the racquet horizontally in front of your body at navel level. When you move the racquet upwards, you rotate your wrist around the racquet handle so that the thumb, which was initially on top, can switch to the underside of the handle. To make this happen, the other four fingers continuously rotate the racquet in succession:<\/p>\n\n\n<div style=\"width: 1020px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-126840-5\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_5.mp4?_=5\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_5.mp4\">https:\/\/bailongball.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Fingerfertigkeiten-Papierrolle-Bailo-englisch_5.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n\n<p>And now add the ball. Vielleicht fragt Du Dich wie sich das Racket so elegant, so weich und doch schnell um die eigene Achse kreisen kann und dabei dennoch den Kontakt zum Ball nicht verliert? Wie \u00fcbt man so etwas? Wie schafft es Irina beispielsweise das Racket so elegant um den Ball zu \"wickeln\" (die sogenannte \"Papierrolle\") wie im Video des dritten Teils der \"Freestyle Elemente\" Serie?  In unserer kleinen zweiteiligen Serie zu \"Fingerfertigkeiten f\u00fcr Freestyle\", m\u00f6chten wir Dir eine paar \u00dcbungen an die Hand geben, mit denen Du die notwendigen Fingerfertigkeiten entwickeln kannst.
