On your marks - get set - go! The year has just begun and we want to provide a few BailongBall stages to get you started:

BailongBall at the German Gymnastics Festival
The TBBF will be represented for the first time this year with a stand at the German Gymnastics Festival from May 28 to June 1 in Leipzig. Click on the blog post for more details.
20 years of TBBF
Our organization is 20 years young this year 😉. Spreading the word about our sport, supporting players and coaches, organizing competitions and events, publishing learning and demo materials - our tasks are diverse and we do all this for you. So, celebrate with us. Visit our stand in Leipzig or contact us via this website, talk to one of the trainers in your area - be part of our community and join in😊
Supervision
As every year, we organize a supervision to which we invite all interested parties, players and coaches. What started out as an advanced training course for coaches has developed over the years into an annual event for all BailongBall enthusiasts. Want to find out what supervision is? Then take a look at our dedicated blog post or take a look at a few posts about recent supervisions. Check our website - we will publish the details of the next supervision in an update under "News"
World BailongBall Day
Like every year, the first Sunday in October is World Bailong Ball Day. Make a note of 5.10 and be there. Here are a few impressions from the last event.
Workbook - Teaching BailongBall
TBBF will publish a book this year detailing how BailongBall can be integrated into the classroom. Here is a preview by Xiaofei Sui, Susanne Ritz and Peter Oettler:
The Bailong Roliball community is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025 as an association of instructors, coaches and passionate players who have been practising this sport in Germany and Europe since its invention in 1992 by Prof. Bai Rong from Jinzhong, Shanxi Province of the People's Republic of China, and who benefit from the Taiji philosophy it embodies. In China, its development has received an enormous boost since 2012 thanks to its designation as an official popular sport, with over 30 million people of different ages now practicing it. China is also struggling with the lazy and digital-dependent alpha and beta generation, and the best remedy for this is more sport in school lessons, even in selected provinces with the sport of Bailong-Roliball.
The board of the TBBF e.V. (Taiji Bailong Ball Federation e.V.) has taken up this idea and "redirected" it into a handbook: BailongBall in school sports. The structure of the book and excerpts from the handbook are reproduced in this article.
Physical Education teachers have less and less time for meaningful sports. Either the class will never homogeneously decide on a sport due to gender preference, or a sport that is being implemented both theoretically and practically in the few school lessons invites students to stand around, watch and not sweat. However, the lessons in physical education should serve the pupils (male and female) for physical training, body awareness, play and fun. Imagine how physical and competitive sports can often lead to injuries, or to disharmony in the class community, because a pupil trains the sport in the club in the afternoon anyway.
Thanks to its 2-in-1 discipline, with ART and GAME, Bailong-Roliball shows a new and varied way to easily learn and implement dialectics, creativity and cooperation in school Physical Education lessons with momentum and suppleness. The various chapters of the book describe the sport, the background, the effect on the psyche, many lesson plans for use in different class levels and, above all, pictures and videos linked via QR code on the Internet by experts in the Bailong-Roliball sport in German.
We'll keep the ball rolling and have something really big to celebrate in 2025!
