Sunday, April 2026, was a wonderful day! The BailongBall Festival was a vibrant, bright, rhythmic, and inspiring springtime event!

40 Lipetsk BailongBall players performed on stage, ranging from 7 to 70+ years in age, with experience ranging from 1 to 15 years.

The participants demonstrated all facets of the Art discipline!

1 and 2 Standard routines, 8- and 16-form Tai Chi Chuan with a racket and ball, Artistic performances in various styles: fiery Latin, accompanied by saxophone and rhythmic drums

At the end of the festival, each participant performed an improvisation to their favorite tunes.

The Dance of the Dragons was a vibrant highlight of the festival.

We reminisced about how it all began in 2012, watching the young participants and their first steps

We reminisced about our travels across Russia and, of course, China, when the Pioneers performed.

We realized that this academic year was a busy one, and the festival brought together all the groups from Lipetsk and beyond! Participants from St. Petersburg and Ulyanovsk are online!

If you’d liked to join the BailongBall Art Festival, you could post your performance with racket and ball with the hashtag #rolliballFest by May 3rd, and we watched and supported your video with likes

Thanks dear colleagues and friends for kind words. The festival usually feels like a stressful event, especially the preparation process for the players. But, I know that this is a celebration of roliball, a top moment for students to show that i can, to feel that i alive, to join the society and powerful atmosphere of the festival. After the scene perfomance everyone was so happy. The parents and friends of the students feels much surprised that their relatives can do amazing things with racket and ball no matter the age, previous skills and time of practice. It was really happy roliball day. Let’s do this in our clubs.
