BailongBall and Qigong—a great combination! Let Natalja tell you how she brought these two disciplines together at an annual Qigong masters' gathering.

On July 18, 2026, I had the honor of leading a BailongBall workshop during the annual gathering of Qigong Shifu in Jūrmala, Latvia.

The event brought together experienced Qigong teachers and practitioners for a day of study, practice, and professional exchange under the guidance of our senior teacher, who has dedicated many years to promoting Qigong and healthy living. The annual gathering is part of a long-standing initiative that encourages health promotion, disease prevention, and the sharing of knowledge among instructors committed to improving people's well-being.

For more than 12 years, I have been teaching Qigong and organizing health and wellness activities. Since 2017, I have also been actively involved in Jūrmala's public health promotion program. Every year, from June through September, I lead regular outdoor Qigong classes and wellness activities on the beautiful Baltic Sea coast in Jūrmala. These sessions are designed to encourage a healthy lifestyle, improve physical and emotional well-being, and make traditional health practices accessible to the local community.

As part of this year's gathering, I introduced BailongBall to the participating Shifu and instructors. The participants were highly experienced teachers, many of whom have devoted decades to practicing and teaching different styles of Qigong, Tai Chi, and other disciplines rooted in traditional Chinese culture and Eastern philosophy.

The workshop was dynamic, inspiring, and filled with positive energy. Although the participants have extensive professional experience, BailongBall immediately captured their interest. They appreciated its unique combination of movement, coordination, concentration, balance, and joyful interaction. Throughout the session, there were smiles, laughter, enthusiasm, and genuine curiosity. Many participants commented that BailongBall is an excellent complement to Qigong practice, bringing people together while developing both body and mind.

I am pleased to share these two short videos from the workshop. I hope they reflect the warm atmosphere of the event and help introduce the spirit of BailongBall to an even wider international audience.
